RIGHTS OF WOMEN WITH DISABILITIES

Manique Gunaratne did a presentation on “How to include women with disabilities in the mainstream” In May 2007 at a conference on “Rights   Women With Disability” at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute. The Chief guest was the Minister of Women’s Affairs, Ms. Sumedha Jayasena. The “Daily News” newspaper, “Dinamina” news paper carried articles about Manique Gunaratne and showed on TV news as well to change from dependent to independent.
