Collaborative Pathways: Shaping Vocational Training in Sri Lanka

Manique Gunaratne contributed as a disability expert at the Planning Workshop for Vocational Training in Sri Lanka Hosted by the Ministry of Education in partnership with GIZ, this workshop brought together key stakeholders to strategize and set milestones for the future of vocational training in Sri Lanka. The workshop was held at the #Radisson #Hotel in July 2023.

Highlights of the Agenda:

• Opening remarks by the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Education and GIZ's Head of Project
• Group discussions to define main activities and milestones
• Interactive sessions, including an energizer to refresh creativity!
• Review of risk assessments, mitigation measures, and finalizing indicators
• A collaborative agreement on next steps to achieve transformative change
