Hands for Light in Japan

Manique Gunaratne was the World winner of the HFL (Hands for Light) study tour 2003. Manique was selected as the winner contesting with people with disabilities in the world. She was given a training in Japan in September 2003. The training covered trainings at the Tokyo Computer School for the Blind, Japan Braille Library, Guide Dog Training, acupuncture and massage. It also included independent living skills, site seeing, Japanese Tea Ceramony, cultural activities and a visit to the Japan Disniland.
