ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT THROUGH TRAVEL IN THAILAND

By catering to the needs of #travelers with disabilities, businesses and destinations can tap into a significant market, generating revenue and promoting economic growth.

Manique Gunaratne together with #women with disabilities in the #Asia #Pacific Region got the opportunity to spend a #leisure time at #Prince #Palace Hotel in #Bangkok, Thailand in December 2023.

Article number 30 of the United Nations Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities (#UNCRPD) clearly states the right to #Recreation and leisure time for persons with disabilities.
