Accessible Tourism in Action at Ruinschaya Hotel in Polonnaruwa

Travelling is not just about seeing new places – it’s about freedom, joy, and unforgettable experiences. For #persons with #disabilities, #accessible #tourism opens the door to #inclusion and equal opportunities to explore the beauty of our world.

#Manique Gunaratne made this vision a reality by giving a group of persons with #diverse disabilities the chance to enjoy #leisure time at the #RuinsChaya Hotel, Polonnaruwa in February 2022. With its warm hospitality, comfortable facilities, and scenic surroundings, Ruins Chaya is a perfect example of how tourism can be inclusive for all.

Let’s keep promoting destinations that welcome everyone, because travel should have no barriers! #AccessibleTourism #InclusionMatters #TravelForAll #Polonnaruwa #RuinsChayaHotel

A serene riverside scene at sunrise or sunset, with overhanging tree branches framing the view. The calm water reflects the trees and the sky, creating a mirror-like effect.
