Medical, social and economic rehabilitation for persons with disabilities

 It is important to sensitise the society that the charity based model is no longer applicable for persons with disabilities. Time has come to have a rights based approach towards disability. Manique Gunaratne presented on “Medical, Social, Economic Rehabilitation and rights based approach for Persons with Disabilities” at a webinar organised by the National Institute of Social Development (NISD) in July 2020.
