Taboo 2020 includes persons with disabilities

 Pulse, a registered trademark of TV Derana together with Aura India hosted Taboo 2020 at the Trace Expert City in March 2020. It was a social awareness project with the focal point of starting conversations and changing age-old ideologies on ‘forbidden’ topics in Sri Lanka. This project is carried out with the goal of breaking barriers, crossing boundaries and shedding light on narratives that have been kept in the dark for far too long. Ms. Manique Gunaratne from The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon and Mr. Ishan Jaleel from Ashinsha were the panelists to discuss on employment for persons with disabilities. Mr. Shirantha Gamage from Save the Children moderated the session.
